Police Department
The Police Department is responsible for the overall safety and law enforcement in the city. Contact this department for general non-emergency information on police reports, animal control, firearm applications, and parking regulations.
Part-Time Police Officers
Part-time officers assist with overseeing the general safety of the community by augmenting shifts for full-time officers, as well as working on extended cases, crime prevention events, and community policing, as needed.
Police Reserves
The police reserves are volunteers that assist the department with community events, traffic control, and non-emergency calls, enabling the on-duty officer to remain on active patrol. If you are interested in becoming a police reserve, please see current openings or email Officer Aaron Slinger.
If you are interested in becoming a full or part-time Police Officer with the Bayport Police Department, please see current openings or email Interim Chief Jay Jackson.
